About
In November 2023, Bistro Francis opened its doors and was quickly embraced by many in the area. Under the leadership of Chef Paul Keijdener, the bistro evokes warm memories of the time when his father ran the renowned Chez Paul, just a kilometer away. With a grandmother as the first female Michelin-starred chef and a youth steeped in gastronomy, the passion for cooking was in Paul's blood from a young age.
Since 2025, Lucas and Claudine Keijdener have joined their brother Paul at Bistro Francis. Lucas stands alongside Paul in the kitchen, where they share their craftsmanship and love for classic French cuisine. Claudine serves as hostess and restaurant manager, and with her experience and natural hospitality, she makes every guest feel at home.
Thus, today, Bistro Francis is a true family business, where tradition, taste, and hospitality come together – an ode to the French cuisine and the culinary roots of the Keijdener family.
